Romania
Area of Mutual Interest (AMI): ADX Interest 60%

ADX Energy Ltd operates a study and bidding group in Romania since 2007. During this period ADX has completed an extensive regional prospectivity study and compiled a large and comprehensive database. Together with its partners Caspian Oil & Gas and Sibinga Petroleum Ltd (Each company holds 20% stake under an AMI agreement – ADX holds remaining 60%) this enables ADX to competitively search, evaluate and acquire highly prospective oil and gas projects and assets in the country. Romania offers a large variety of production, rejuvenation, development, near field exploration and frontier exploration opportunities. The AMI consortium is currently participating in the 10th National Bidding Round were proximately 30.000 sqm of exploration area is offered.
 
In Q4 2009 ADX was awarded eight prospecting licenses which give the consortium access to additional data and as a consequence it will place the AMI in a stronger position to successfully bid for highly prospective Romanian hydrocarbon acreage.
